We develop and produce high-quality and long-lasting products from recyclable materials that serve to maintain the cold chain during transport. Our products are fail-safe and do not require any external energy. Our transport method can be utilized cost-effectively by the distribution of large logistics centers as well as by smaller courier deliveries.
The decision to establish 2Cool Finland sprang up in 2013, when a small group of business veterans became convinced by the potential of transport boxes made of EPP-polyurethane foam to be an effective and environmentally friendly mode of transport. There were to some extent similar type of transport boxes on the market in use, but these based mostly on Gastronorm dimensions that were not optimal from the transport perspective. Therefore, 2Cool Finland decided to develop and prepare a transport box collection in accordance with the dimensions of the europallet that would additionally be logistically as practical as possible. The design process lasted for several years, during which various materials of manufacture were tested with the aim to find out how to render the box as resistant and insulating to the outdoor temperature as possible.
2Cool Finland acquired in 2016 the business of the Finnish cool ice manufacturer Arctic Ice Oy (LLC) with whom 2Cool Finland managed to develop optimal gel products for its transport boxes and improve the quality of the environment friendly gel ice even further.
